We were born out of the necessity for a platform that is as fast, dynamic, and relentless as the creators it celebrates. BFPQ is not an institution. We are the pulse.

BFPQ is the answer to the wait. As a brand new festival, our mission is to start with what matters most: a quarterly platform designed to break old structures. This means no waiting and no unnecessary hurdles. We bring your work directly to the global stage - fast, accessible, and with the respect it deserves. Our long-term vision is to establish this movement here in Berlin. But strong foundations take time to build. For now, our unique focus lies in the fusion of film and photography. We believe the line between the static and the moving image is fluid, and the most exciting stories are born in the space between.

We are not looking for technical perfection. We are looking for an attitude. For bold visions, honest observations, and unpolished beauty. From narrative short films that build a world in five minutes, to hard-hitting documentaries and raw street photography that turns the everyday into an art form - we are the home for visual storytelling that takes a risk. We don't have genre boundaries, only one question: Does your work have a voice?
